Ossia is an artist dealing with a vast world music and live expression rooted in DIY & soundsystem culture.

Shortly after running the Peng Sound basement sessions in Bristol around 2010, he joined Bristol's Young Echo collective and has been a key figure in Bristol for distributing and curating physical music via his RWDFWD distro & mailorder, and influential labels such as NoCorner, FuckPunk, LAVALAVA and Hotline. His music has appeared on labels such as (the now defunct) Blackest Ever Black, Berceuse Heroique, Young Echo Records as well as more recently via self-released vinyl, (offline-only) cassettes and remix works.

Since around 2020, the focus has been on his impulsive live shows, where his unheard music is brought alive in an explosive and depth charging way, in the moment.

In recent years, he has collaborated with many musicians on stage - from legends Dali De Saint Paul, Dan Johnson, as well as Valentina Magaletti and Arsenal Mikebe from Uganda, or with Grove on the mic, and together with Loto Retina and Lukas De Clerck as Kerosene Sneeze.

Ossia is navigating a world that is unbound yet underground, keeping things honest and DIY. There is no set path, rather an aim to transcend borders musically, physically, and socially - fuelled by disdain for the status quo, and charged by love, and unity.
