aka Nurdin William,
Born in 1980, imbued with an existential
desire to bring concrete music to performance.

He need to share the belief that philosophical thinking begins
with the human subject—not merely the thinking subject,
but the acting, feeling, living human individual.
His predominant value of thought is commonly acknowledged
to be freedom, its primary virtue is authenticity.
"the existential attitude", or a sense of disorientation,
confusion, or dread in the face of an apparently
meaningless or absurd world.

Since the end of the 1990s, WN has worked as a composer using computer and tape recorder,

also turned towards phonography of both natural and human-produced sounds.
Sound artist, composer & electroacoustic musician orienting towards acousmatic music,
concrete music, also Harsh Noise Wall Action with his Clougnioule moniker.
He plays in various musical formations, operating in turn guitar, electronic organ,
reel-to-reel machine, broken duck call or a polypropylene glass.

Over the years, he had the honor to collaborate on studio or in live with great artists such as :

Vivian Grezzini / Lauren Rodz / Kazehito Seki / Dave Phillips / Cathy Heyden / Masayoshi Urabe /

Junko Hiroshige / Yann Marussich / Paolo Gàiba Riva / Jean Bender / DustBreeders / RPT …

An accident naturally uncontrolled ?

His new live project called "RIR1009",
is a bruitiste wire-less action.
Developing manipulation of feedback,
buccal basics and psychoacoustic.
with the help of an headset-mic and contact-mic,
plugged into a homemade fuzz pedals,
connected into a wireless system,
weared with a belt to be free to

move all around the room,

in order to discover the everything...

Swamping between drones and pulses, electrified by blips and blops, Uhuruku selects the right records for a session that goes beyond the depth you usually would expect from a DJ-Set.

Let Uhuruku be your Guide. Grown up in the Swiss Mountains an based in Zurich, he regularly plays sets in which different musical spheres are linked and juxtaposed: from techno, industrial, jungle to footwork, dubstep/grime, bass music, experimental, abstract or ambient. He explores the boundaries of all those genres and fragments them into a puzzle-like entity.
